• Android devices do not permit apps to identify connected Bluetooth devices when actively broadcasting. Consequently, sometimes we are unable to retrieve your device's exact name. For instance, if your AirPods are named "Morgan's AirPods," they may appear as just "AirPods" in the app.
• The app's scanner can track other Bluetooth 4.0 devices like hearing aids that are powered on and actively advertising.

HOW IT WORKS:

Find My Headphones & Earbuds simplifies the technical aspects of locating your audio device by implementing a straightforward Cold, Warmer, Hot methodology.

1. Restart your phone or tablet to ensure that Bluetooth is functioning correctly.
2. Launch Find My Headphones & Earbuds.
3. Gradually walk around until you see your device's name displayed. This indicates that your device is in close proximity.
4. Tap the red button labeled "Let's Go Find It".
5. Continue to walk slowly. As you move closer to your lost device, the indicator will transition from Cold to Warmer, signifying its proximity.
6. When you are approximately 3-5 feet away from your audio device, the indicator will display Hot. Congratulations! You have successfully found your lost headphones or earbuds!
